This series of sumi inks on silk are painted on both sides. They are to be suspended within the darkened exhibit space, equally lit from both sides. They are composed within the space in relation to each other and to the limits of the space.
People are intended to walk around the pieces to see how they change from side to side; sometimes these changes are obvious and at other times they are more subliminal. click here for slide show of Belgium exhibit
